Good for the price, but if you work out daily, squeaky squeaky

The machine is a bit harder than typical ellipticals found on the majority of gyms and of course I paid for that. I have disassembled it twice to quiet noises. The first time I did the main bolt that ties up the wheel was loose, no wonder. When putting it together the first time some screws on the handles were tough. For the price you paid I believe is a good product. Manufacturer should consider some modifications to lower noise over time.

Price: excellent

Workout functions: great

Hardness: medium

Great beginners Elliptical

Solid for the Price.

This machine came just as described. I'm 6'5"" tall and at the time I started using the EX59 I weighed in at 270 lbs. I started out using a friends rear wheel elliptical but it's pedals were 5"" apart and it made my knees hurt. with the EX59's 0 gap, I don't have that problem anymore. I gave the EX59 a 4 star instead of 5 because I think the weight limit should be 250 lbs instead of 275lbs. This elliptical is an ideal buy for someone who is determined to lose weight. 16 levels of resistance and smooth operation make the EX59 a pleasure to use everyday.

Best machine for its price...

Absolutely worth every cent!

Got this machine 2 months ago and so far I'm satisfied with the purchase.

I had painstakingly researched various elliptical machines, detailing the pros and cons of each one. This machine came out on top compared with all other machines.

PROS: Assembly! This item was very very easy to put together. This was very surprising! It took about 3 hours only because we did it rather slowly and took a lot of breaks. The parts were very well labeled and OILED!!! The manual was also very detailed; you can't ask for more, right? (CON: It didn't describe how to plug the item, but that was easy to figure. Also its better to unplug the item after use as it doesn't have an ON/OFF button).

PROS: SILENT, easy glide. I was pleasantly surprised at the smoothness of this machine. Absolutely no clunky grinding sounds. It moves smoothly and effortlessly. It is solidly built with heavy duty materials so it doesn'€™t feel like it would fall apart on you.

Other PROS: It has a fan that isn't noisy, an mp3 player hook up with speakers, work out plans, a heart rate monitor, resistance levels, calories burned etc.

So far, its perfect for daily use (approx 45 mins - 1 hour)

CONS: the EX-59 is quite long at 73". It doesn't fold away or stow away. It takes a lot of space. I was aware of this and had to make space for it.

Additionally I wish the display were more advanced. I'm getting used to its simplicity; but frankly it gives all the information needed.

OVERALL, this machine has been PERFECT so far and worth EVERY LAST CENT! I already recommended it to a friend that went ahead to buy it.

Look no further, go ahead, its worth it.
